    My name is Gouri, I’m a sophomore majoring in computer science with honors, here at the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee and this page is going to help you get to know me better.

    I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

    I’m an international student, born in the cultural capital of a small coastal state in India, I grew up loving cable tv, writing and art, recently into video games as well. I was an only child so most of my childhood was spent figuring out ways to not be bored. I always knew I wanted to go far, in distance and in life (I hope).

    This is my current Pinterest board, heavily arcane inspired, mainly because me and my best friend loved watching it. Not as much as we love how I met your mother though. I’ve watched that show 12 times and so has she.

    So I start my journey, to Kochi, to finish my two final years of schooling at one of the top 10 best schools in state. That’s where I met Annu, Namina and Ashvin, a couple of my best-est buds and the ones who made a subpar year of my life worth living. (Annu actually made this playlist)

    Leaving my friends behind to move halfway across the world for college was hard, but such is life, isn’t it? You have to break out of your comfort zone and do things you originally never would have. Yet when times get hard, there’s a quote I like to go to…
